About the Role
- Facilitate and support the planning and delivery of digital programs and projects by increasing organisational capability in all aspects of program and project management
- Build, develop and manage PMO frameworks and methodologies, providing advice on best practice techniques and tools, to ensure quality outcomes are delivered, through mentoring and support to project delivery staff.
- Working within the PMO team to develop the methods and tools to support the frameworks and methodologies.
- Ensure appropriate program/project controls (benefits, change, scheduling, risk and issue management and reporting) are applied across the programs/projects, delivering transparency in the digital initiative performance and governance oversight.
- Facilitate the dependency and risk management processes in consultation with delivery staff and other parties.
- Establish and maintain central registers, documents and processes including lessons learned, decisions and actions registers.
- Analyse, assess and report on program/project related trends and provide recommendations on performance improvement.
- Maintain a content -driven supporting environment so that, wherever possible, delivered products are structured and stored as information rather than traditional records.
- Provide quality assurance of all program/project documentation to ensure all aspects of the digital initiative are accurately captured.
- Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
