Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Risk Manager to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Perth.

PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. **Key Responsibilities of this role include**:

- Develop effective relationships with clients, Engagement Managers, Business Directors and engagement teams
- Develops engagement risk management plans, facilitate risk workshops and hazard studies (i.e. HAZAN, HAZOPs); maintains risk register; periodically re-evaluate risks for their continued relevance, true priority, anticipated effectiveness of the proposed risk treatment plans and validity of documented trigger event
- Communicate and train engagement and business unit team members in risk management processes and procedures
- Participate in project set-up and project closure reviews, project gate reviews, project management reviews, quality audits, risk management independent reviews and recommend actions for improvement;
- Assist the Global Director, Risk Management with the development of risk management procedure and functional guides;
- Tracks metrics to demonstrate a cultural acceptance of risk management throughout the region
- Contributes to fostering a knowledge sharing culture by actively participating in the risk knowledge networks and collaborative forums

**Key required qualifications and experience**:

- Post-secondary degree from a recognized university, ideally in engineering or business. A professional risk or project management designation is desirable (i.e., CRM, PMI-PRM, GARP, PMP etc.,) combined with 5 - 10 year experience in a risk management; workshop facilitation involving large groups of people, combined with technical knowledge of hazard studies techniques.
- Good understanding of and experience with project management, cost estimating and project scheduling principles, tools and techniques.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients; establish trust, credibility and respect.
- Skilled in the production of high quality reports and presentations.
- Ability to travel to other Hatch offices or project sites as required, and on a relatively short notice
