**The Company**

You will be joining an Australian-based organisation in the retail and hospitality industries.

**A day in the life of a Risk Manager**

Responsible for managing and providing risk management support and oversight for the organisation, including supporting risk frameworks and adherence of the Risk Management Strategy.

This is a line 2 role, you will guide the business to ensure they are compliant again requirements in the risk management strategy.

The risk maturity of the organisation is in its infancy therefore some who has had experience maturing frameworks would be ideal.

**Key Aspects of the role**:

- Monitor and report on adherence to RMS requirements and risk frameworks.
- Develop and maintain the risk profile in line with RMS requirements.
- Oversee and report on the business-specific risks, issues, and events for the organisations Line 2.
- Monitor, aggregate, and report on the business-specific risks and issues related to Critical Incidents and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).

**Desired Experience to succeed in the role**:

- Ideally, you'll bring a minimum of 6 years of experience in risk management role in an ASX-listed company or professional services firm.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry and familiar with regulators and independent bodies.
- To success in this role you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to change and adapt as required.
- Experience in Enterprise/Operational Risk and strategic risk is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO31000 and ASP220 is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- You will enjoy challenging the status quo and enjoy working in a very hands-on environment.
