**What’s the role?**

We are a new team within News Corp Australia adopting a startup approach to disrupt the digital media and comparison markets. Our ambition is to be the #1 destination for consumers to compare products on life important money decisions and generate quality leads for businesses across several categories.

This is a leadership role with the primary focus of setting and executing the strategy to drive traffic growth and performance outcomes for News Compare’s products through a collaborative and performance-focused leadership style, building an innovative lead generation operation and advocating the team values to grow the team culture.

The Head of Traffic & Performance will bring a wealth of experience across the lead generation function’s key accountabilities including consumer research, traffic generation, content creation, conversion optimisation and data & analytics. While continually seeking new and innovative ways to disrupt the market and drive quality lead growth.

Key accountabilities for the role include:

- Organic search strategy and planning
- Paid and earned traffic strategy and planning
- Editorial strategy and content creation
- Partner brand content alignment
- Conversion of audience traffic into quality client leads
- Client campaign management
- CRO strategy and planning
- Performance reporting
- Data analysis
- Customer journey tracking
- Consumer research and insights

**Who you are**
- Demonstrated executive success leading Marketing Operations in a Digital Performance environment.
- Demonstrated executive success leading search and content lead marketing businesses.
- Demonstrated success in successful execution and delivery of key growth initiatives.
- Led best practice Marketing teams, notably in lead generation and launched market-leading products.
- Extensive knowledge of best practices in Digital Marketing and Lead Generation
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Exceptional at building relationships and effective stakeholder management with senior level corporate stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level written communication skills and expertise in crafting compelling and relevant proposals and reporting.
- Proactive, resilient, and inspirational leader with a growth mindset.
- A passion for the customer and how best to communicate and engage with them.
