Our team at the **Queensland Children’s Hospital** are looking for a **Menu Monitor** to join their food services team. You’ll work closely with our food services team and clinical staff at the hospital to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and service.

This is a casual position working shifts between 5am-8pm across Monday-Sunday. Your day-to-day duties might include:

- Order appropriate meals for patients with special dietary requirements using Menu Management Software (Saffron).
- Review recipe and ingredient lists whilst performing safety checks to ensure all meals served in the diet kitchen are compliant with the patients’ diets, preferences, and meal plans.
- Supervise plating line and perform final accuracy check of patient meal trays.
- Communicate with patients and families to determine food preferences and dislikes as required.

**About you**:

- Demonstrate organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload, whilst remaining calm, to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated sound level of interpersonal and written communication skills and interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Display a positive attitude to daily challenges, willingness, and flexibility to meet the needs of changing priorities and a resilient nature.
- Understanding of the importance in compliance with hospital policies related to the rights of staff privacy and patient confidentiality.
- Previous experience within a hospital food services role highly desirable._
