Due to an internal promotion, we have a vacancy for a **Dietitian, **supporting our national operations in our Healthcare Portfolio. The role exists to support our teams at our client sites by focusing on the provision of the food and nutrition offer ensuring we meet client contractual, legislative and corporate requirements. Working closely with the senior leaders in the Healthcare team: our National Executive Chef and our General Management team, you will be responsible for providing specialist dietetic and nutritional advice, including reviewing and advising on seasonal and ad hoc menus, and partnering with Operations teams to implement relevant nutritional programs into each sector. This position will suit a hands-on Dietetic professional, your can-do attitude and safety focus along with your passion for quality and service will be rewarded in this key role. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and autonomously is essential for success in this role. **Flexible on base location, could be: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane** **Some of the key responsibilities of your new role will include**: - Assist with the development and analysis of menus - Plan and/or modify meals and menus according to nutritional care plans - Provide nutritional care consultancy to aged care residents - Provide nutritional advice to Catering staff and Customers (Residents) as required - Effectively utilise Compass systems to maintain efficient operations - Actively maintain awareness & knowledge of current industry standards and updates **A bit about you**: - Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline - Accredited Practising Dietician - Eligible for financial membership to Dieticians Australia - Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of food legislation, regulation and standards including food labelling, food safety and allergen regulations and Hazard Analysis - Experience in food service process including menu ordering (manual and electronic systems), procurement, preparation, meal assembly, distribution and equipment cleaning/sanitation - Formal training/qualifications and experience to collect and analyse qualitative and/or quantitative data to identify, audit and monitor food service and/or nutrition issues - Excellent communication skills - verbal & written We place great importance on being an employer of choice and offer excellent career opportunities including internal transfers; ongoing training and development, a competitive salary, recognition programs including awards, long service and team event days; and company discounts.
