About the Role
- Demonstrate ability to follow procedures and work processes related to therapeutic diets and meal provision including competency in the use of CBORD electronic menu management system and other electronic systems.
- Undertake bedside same day menu ordering using CBORD to ensure patient dietary and individual requirements are considered for menu choices in meeting therapeutic requirements.
- Oversee accuracy of plated meals and delivery of selective mid-meals.
- Undertake mealtime monitoring of patients and/or other key identified tasks and quality improvement activities as required and directed by the Dietetic team.
- Ensure appropriate nutrition support is provided to patients through liaison and effective communication with Dietitians, Nurses, Food Service and other Allied Health Professional staff members.
- Work cooperatively and effectively within a team environment and with patients.
- Participate in professional support and professional development activities; and assist new staff members and dietetic students as required.
