**About the role**

The HR Advisor will work alongside the Senior HR Business Partners to support our Marine Programs at Henderson base. Through working onsite, you will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with clients, government offices, community organisations and the employees working on sustaining the ships. Our employees provide specialist marine sustainment services to support the Royal Australian Navy’s vessels, Landing Helicopter Dock ships HMAS Adelaide and Canberra, as well as supporting the Warship Asset Management Agreement (WAMA) - the alliance which maintains and upgrades the ANZAC Class Frigates.

**About you**

You are an experienced HR Practitioner who has experience interpreting legislation, regulations, and Awards, together with policy and procedure to provide high quality and pragmatic HR advice.

You will bring knowledge of a range of HR functional areas and an understanding of the techniques and approaches associated with HR activity. Our systems and processes are continually under review, so you will be someone enjoys identifying improvement initiatives and is comfortable with challenging the status quo.

You will also bring your well-developed organisational skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work to see you successfully complete every task.
