Sydney- Investment Banking- PermanentOur client is wholesale Australian institutional stockbroking firm seeking a Dealing Desk Assistant to join their Sydney team.

You will provide administrative assistance required by the dealing desk and perform designated trading and sales functions.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Sales - Research sales, prepare and deliver overnight summary of global market activity
- Trading (IRESS, Bloomberg)
- Bookings and settlements - Completion of all bookings and ensure settlements of all trades
- Account opening and maintenance - Institutional investor account opening and maintenance in accordance with policy and procedures
- Reporting - Generate sales reports to trading and relevant analysts
- Systems support - Ensure systems on all dealing desks are functioning and assist integration of core dealing desk functions with CRM, Information Systems
- General duties such as providing administrative assistance to Dealers, Head Institutional Sales and Head Compliance
