
Food and Nutrition Data Coordinator

**Role Overview**:
WeightWatchers Global Food Data is one of the most important foundations of the WW digital product and member experience. It underpins the program experience that enables millions of members to follow the food program to eat healthier and lose weight.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Update and add food and beverage product information to the food database, constantly ensuring our website and app are up-to-date with the latest information - verified by WW food and nutrition experts.
- Increase quantity and improve quality of our food data, maintaining or increasing our barcode success scan rate under the local lead.
- Support internal stakeholders to deliver successful cookbooks by adding and reviewing recipe data
- Add and ensure overall food attributes and categorization is accurate and up to date, allowing the business to innovate around how food data dependent content is served up in the WW app
- Expand the ethnic diversity of the WW food database to serve members from all cultural backgrounds based on guidance from the local lead.
- Expand the breadth of trackable restaurant menu items, by reviewing, updating or adding new chain menus or seasonal items.
- Implement food data updates aligned with product and program innovation roadmaps to support key features in the app and other tools.
- Own and manage internal stakeholder relationships and timelines for supply of food products, including home delivery meals.
- Bring forth new ideas and new ways of working to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the way all food data is handled, used, and maintained in the database.
- Work with international team members to support a globally-aligned approach to food and nutrition data.
- Liaise with a representative from the Global Food & Nutrition Data team on a regular basis, until your local manager returns from maternity leave.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in nutrition (or similar)
- Must be familiar with local, regional and national food products and restaurants.
- Interest in current grocery store food products, new products and food trends (you go to the supermarket with curiosity and recognise the new products on the shelves)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Agile, adaptable and able to work on multiple projects at once
- An advocate for the WW member. Familiarity with or interest in learning about the WW program and experience.
- A strong interest in science-backed wellness
- Tech and data-savviness
