As the Heavy Transport Manager East for Mammoet Australia, you will be a hands-on Senior Manager responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and growth of our East Coast Heavy Transport and Special Devices department located in Darra QLD. You will support and inspire our current team whilst also looking for strategic business development opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

- Utilising your people skills to lead, persuade and influence
- Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and standards
- Identifying and promotion of business opportunities
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to succeed
- Regular interstate and local travel as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

- You bring at least 5 years of Proven Heavy lift and transport experience to this role
- Strong safety leadership qualities
- Prior people management and leadership experience, and a passion for coaching and mentoring
- Strong commercial acumen and sales capability
- Knowledge of change management process, industry relevant department systems and MS Office suite
- Ideally, a background that includes having worked in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
