We require a
**Recruitment, Onboarding & Social Media / Marketing Assistant** to bolster the critical function of
**recruitment, marketing & onboarding **across the business. The ECG Engineering team is primarily tertiary qualified Electrical Engineers, with HR supporting a white collar workforce and workload. A very professional technical project delivery environment.

Working with me, the Recruitment Manager, the Recruitment, Onboarding & Social Media / Marketing Assistant is a generalist role where you are able to build on your communication skills and draw upon HR or Marketing studies in the recruitment and onboarding of new personnel + working on retention strategies for existing ECG staff.
Key to your success will be your communication skills to ensure that ECG hire the right personnel, and then provide a seamless transition for the new hires into the ECG team. You will also be involved in the marketing / social media strategy of ECG, as we let the world know what a great company ECG are
**Key functions of the role;**
- Work directly with the Recruitment Manager in recruitment on boarding & mobilization of personnel
- Assist in the end-to end recruitment process including advertising, screening, interviewing and reference checking
- Assist in in marketing and social media, primarily LinkedIn and maintenance of the ECG website
- Organizing site access and inductions
- Ensure recruitment database is accurate and up to date
- Assist with employee contractual terms and conditions including rate and rosters
- Take ownership of every new recruits first day, from setting up their desk / computer / phone / software access, to ensuring their first day sees them knowing they made the right choice in joining ECG
**About you;**
- A confident, outgoing personality, and the ability to motivate and persuade by phone, face to face, and finally in written communication
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the confidence to work with all business levels
- 6 - 36 months’ experience in a generalist Administration / HR Advisor capacity
- Ideally experience within the mining / construction, resources sector
- Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing / Human Resources or a related field an advantage but not essential
- Ability to remain positive and upbeat while working to deadlines and under pressure
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word) and ideally experience with HR information systems and tools
- Positivity; work should be fun
- Initiative, ownership, integrity and confidence
