Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Policy Officer** who can prepare program and policy advice for senior executives

**About the role**:

- Work under limited direction to undertake moderately complex projects
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to allow for coordinated and effective delivery of key projects
- Support the preparation of program and policy advice for senior executives and the Minister
- Under direction prepare briefings or responses to departmental or external requests for information
- Support the preparation and creation of reporting on key projects
- Support the implementation and reporting on national projects
- Assistance on other policy and program matters and activities as required and directed by supervisor

**Ideally you will have**:

- Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Strong policy coordination/implementation experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to shifting and competing deadlines
