This peak body organisation is looking for a Policy Officer who is skilled in environmental regulations and can work collaboratively with others. They want someone who is organised and friendly to join their team.

**Your new role**

In the role of Project Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and managing stakeholders effectively. You will be responsible for coordinating and completing administrative tasks, managing correspondence, distributing information and materials to stakeholders, and maintaining databases that are relevant to the project.

Your main duties will include:

- Conduct policy reviews
- Provide recommendations for policy improvement and present them to stakeholders
- Assist with project planning activities
- Offer effective administrative support such as planning, budgeting, and reporting; contract management; briefing papers and presentations
- Manage stakeholders by providing advice and support, and building partnerships
- Oversee procurement activities by ensuring that the correct analysis is undertaken, and the appropriate level of approval is sought
- Manage your diary, coordinate meetings, and prepare materials and documents for meetings and events.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, while building positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

As well as this, you will have:

- Experience and knowledge in supporting program management and customer service
- High level of planning, organisational, and communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
