**About the role**
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader looking for their next challenge, embedding themselves as a key player in supporting a workplace that is focused on continuously improving performance and a cohesive culture. The Team Leader, Payroll Services leads a professional, friendly and collaborative team which delivers customer centric payroll, conditions of employment and organisational structure functions. The role involves providing accurate and timely processing of payroll entitlements for over 500 employees and is responsible for the verification of the payroll accuracy, identifying anomalies and resolving complex payroll related queries and issues.

**What are we looking for**:
**The key duties of this position includes**:

- Lead a team of payroll specialists to deliver AUSTRAC's fortnightly pay process
- Ensure HR system capabilities and processes are fit for purpose
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements
- Develop, update and advise on payroll and terms and conditions
- Train, mentor and develop payroll team members
- Deliver high quality advice to managers and leaders on a broad range of employment matters
