**Your New Role**:
Reporting to our energetic and progressive Managing Director this role will focus upon building a strong and mutually beneficial partnership across all areas of Volkswagen Financial Services and Volkswagen Group brands. As an innovative Brand Manager you will lead the development of a long term strategy which will deliver solid commercial outcomes for the business. A proven track record of market penetration by way of promoting brand awareness of associated products is a must.

**Your responsibilities include the following but are not limited to**:

- Formulate and maintain effective working relationships to enable the development of products, campaigns and joint initiatives between VWFSA and the respective brand.
- Develop innovative joint VWFSA and brand initiatives, utilising the available resources within VWFSA which align to the Group brands requirements and strategy.
- Develop integrated retention and loyalty strategies for VWFSA and our brands, with the objective of increasing retention and improved customer satisfaction.
- Provide direction, leadership and co-ordination to VWFSA staff when working with our brands across all business areas.
- Collaborate with the regional sales management team in the development of effective programs relevant to the market, including sales generation and incentive programs
- Cooperation and alignment with Product Managers to ensure that VWFSA products (including marketing and promotion) are compliant with standards set by regulators.
- Understand and build awareness of the features and benefits of VWFSA products and how they complement our brand strategies across their respective departments and in the market.
- Supporting joint financial performance tracking and the development of improved commercial transparency with Brand Partners.

**In order to be successful in this role**:

- Highly developed communication, negotiation, influencing, planning implementation and interpersonal skills.
- At least 5 years' experience in the provision of service and support to commercial clients or a similar environment.
- Degree or Qualification in Business, Finance or Marketing would be highly regarded.
- A demonstrated ability to identify and develop alternative solutions to problems, to evaluate courses of action and to reach logical conclusions.
- Thorough understanding of automotive and automotive financial services industry (advantageous).
- General understanding of growing and sustaining businesses and relationships in a competitive marketplace.
- Knowledge of brand marketing, particularly related to a wholesale/retail environment.
- Manufacturer/Dealership experience (advantageous).
