**The Opportunity**

Austal currently has a permanent, full-time opportunity for a multi-skilled Yard Hand to join our Site Services Department in Henderson. In this role, the Yard Hand will be accountable for delivering their work on time, in full, and to standard. They will also be responsible for ensuring their own safety and that of their colleagues, while maintaining a clean, tidy, and productive work environment. Additionally, they are expected to strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of their work.

**What’s involved**
- Complete facility maintenance activities and yard work
- Painting activities (line marking, walkways etc.)
- Remove & Empty of construction waste bins from vessels
- General facility/yard cleaning and garden maintenance
- Maintaining lunchroom supply levels (coffee, tea, sugar etc.)
- Forklift driving
- Assisting trades when required

**You’ll need**
- Experience working within a similar labouring role
- Construction White Card
- Knowledge using hand and power tools safely
- Forklift Ticket is desirable
