About The Opportunity
Are you hands-on, safety-focused, and ready to be part of a high-performing team? Austal is seeking a motivated permanent Yard Hand a to support our production operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contribution directly impacts the success of our projects.

What's Involved
As a Yard Hand, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Complete facility maintenance activities and yard work.
  • Painting activities (line marking, walkways etc.)
  • Forklift Operation.
  • Assisting trades when required.
  • Operating forklifts, EWP, and other equipment safely and efficiently
  • Working collaboratively with your team and taking ownership of your work

You'll Need

  • Experience working in a similar labouring role
  • Construction White Cad
  • Knowledge of safe use of hand and power tools
  • Forklift Licence
