**About the role**

A day in the life of a TAFE Teacher is a rewarding one where you help learners gain the skills and knowledge needed to be School Learning Support Officers (or Teacher’s Aides). During your day, you will provide innovative and exciting learning opportunities for students, supporting them in their learning and assessing. You will go into schools to assess students with their practical skills and knowledge. If you enjoy helping people and collaborating with others to provide high quality learning and assessment opportunities, then this role is ideal for you.

**About You**

We are looking for passionate and engaging individuals who have the ability to meet the following Essential Requirements:

- Diploma of Teaching in Primary or Secondary Education or higher qualification.
- Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent / higher.
- Three years post-qualification experience (minimum), gained no longer than five years ago.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining and developing technical currency + VET knowledge and skills.
