**Role Overview**

We are seeking a multi-skilled Salesforce Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Salesforce development, Marketing Cloud configuration, and platform testing. This hands-on role spans both Application Managed Services (AMS) and project engagements, contributing to the design, build, and assurance of scalable, integrated Salesforce solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Salesforce Development**
- Design, build, and maintain custom solutions using Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch Jobs), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
- Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs between Salesforce and third-party systems
- Optimise performance and adhere to Salesforce best practices, including governor limits and secure coding
- Deploy solutions using Change Sets or DevOps pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Gearset)
- Collaborate with admins, BAs, and testers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

**Marketing Cloud Administration**
- Configure data extensions, segmentation rules, and contact model integrations with Salesforce CRM
- Monitor campaign performance, troubleshoot delivery issues, and ensure compliance with GDPR and CAN-SPAM

**Testing & Quality Assurance**
- Write and execute manual test cases for new functionality across Salesforce Core and Marketing Cloud
- Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing; escalate defects and track resolution
- Support automated testing using tools like Selenium, Provar, or TestComplete
- Validate security models (roles, sharing, profiles) and test data integrity in sandbox environments
- Work within Agile delivery teams and participate in sprint ceremonies and retrospectives

**Skills & Experience**
- 3+ years' experience in Salesforce development, configuration, or QA roles
- Proficient in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk)
- Experienced with Salesforce DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps)
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and scripting (AMPscript, SQL, SSJS)
- Familiarity with testing processes and tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Provar, Selenium)
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimisation skills

**Qualifications**
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (required); Platform Developer II
- ISTQB or Salesforce Testing Certification
