The Care Support Manager will use their Care Support skills to contribute to providing south-east based mecwa
- care_ residents an exceptional customer experience that is invigorating and diverse. The Care Support Manager will be responsible to enrich the current Care Support program and implement initiatives to influence the quality of life for residents. This is through meaningful lifestyle and care support activities including leisure activities, purposeful interactions, human connections, and well-being activities.
This role is responsible for the standardisation of quality service with a strong focus on quality, compliance and service excellence. In addition, this position is also responsible for mentoring and coaching teams, and ensuring key initiatives are delivered effectively across our facilities and services. This position will suit a creative, inspirational leader who is passionate about working with the elderly and enriching their lives with stimulating and engaging activities to maximise their well-being.
**What you bring**:
- Previous experience in a similar role in residential aged care or community setting.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to create and deliver customised resident centred Care Support programs
- Proven management and leadership skills, strong working knowledge of continuous improvement and resident Care Support requirements in the Aged Care Standards
- Proven ability to guide, motivate and mentor staff
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Community Services
- Certificate III in Individual, Aged or Community Care Support
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and management of a team of staff across numerous locations
- Working knowledge of OH&S and Aged Care Standards
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills including MS Office Suite
- Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to monitoring and deliver high level quality customer service
