**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join a large and highly reputable company on an initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to go permanent. The company is based in the CBD and they offer hybrid working arrangements. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced accounts payable officer who is eager to learn and utilise their current skill set.

**The Responsibilities**:
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

- Data entry of invoices in a multi-entity environment including cost allocations
- Preparation of payment runs working with the broader finance team on final listing
- Ensure all controls have been met ie - approvals / ABN checks / bank checks
- Review existing processes and procedures and suggest improvements
- Month end close
- Maintaining prepayment and accruals schedules
- Credit card reconciliation, allocation and posting
- Work with the shared services team located both domestically and off-shore.

**The successful applicant**
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable
- Strong communication sills as a priority and a positive attitude and be a keen learner.
- High attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a proactive approach.
