We are a big hotel, looking for some big talent With 517 newly refurbished rooms, 9 conference rooms, and multiple food and beverage outlets, Mercure Sydney is on the look out for a vibrant Guest Service All Rounder. We are and will continue to be, ANYTHING BUT NORMAL.

**Job Description**:
Are you creative, extroverted and highly customer orientated? If so, Mercure Sydney wants you in our team

**As a Guest Service All-rounder, your role will consist of**:

- Providing exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously throughout the guest journey
- Being the guests key contact throughout their stay - you will conduct check-in, check-out, luggage assistance, phone assistance and provide tourism information
- Promoting and up-selling hotel facilities through strong product knowledge
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring all procedures are followed
- Ensuring the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality are maintained throughout the guest stay
- Maintaining strong attention to detail when handling guest accounts, processing payments and reconciling your transactions

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Be a people person - you must be warm, friendly and able to make genuine connections with our guests
- Have a passion for hospitality - be willing to learn and keen to progress in your career
- Have excellent grooming and pride in presenting yourself well
- Be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends
