**About Us**

We’re a vibrant, community-focused backpacker hostel offering a clean, safe, and friendly environment for travellers from around the world. We’re currently looking for an **All-Rounder** to join our team someone who can handle both **reception** and **cleaning** duties with confidence and care.

**About the Role**

This solo-shift position combines **front desk admin** with **hands-on cleaning**. You'll be responsible for guest check-ins, managing messages and bookings, and ensuring the hostel is clean, welcoming, and guest-ready throughout the day.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Guest check-ins and check-outs using PMS
- Cleaning of all common areas and preparing rooms for arrivals
- Handling daily admin, task lists, and shift handovers
- Monitoring payments, guest profiles, and basic banking tasks
- Reliable, independent, and well-organised
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable multitasking and staying calm under pressure
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or cleaning
- WHV holders welcome — must have valid working rights in Australia
- Able to follow detailed procedures and work efficiently on their own

**Shift Structure**

Day shifts: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
