Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market. IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources FMG, Roy Hill, Novo Resources, Liontown Resources, Saracen Minerals and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013.

With extensive experience working for clients in remote areas and a deep body of knowledge gained from its diverse multidisciplinary team, IMC understands the specific challenges that constructing and delivering for its Western Australian clients presents.

**s** with civil and mining experience to commence on a full-time permanent basis, on a 2/1 FIFO roster ex Perth the Pilbara.

Reporting to the Project Manager, our Operations Supervisors provide high level supervision and safety leadership to the work crew for the construction of exploration pads and access tracks, whilst engaging with our client on a regular basis.

To be considered supervisory experience in a civil and mining environment, ability to work autonomously and being safety focused with a good understanding of mobile plant operation is essential for this role.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Take accountability and coordinate the execution of the project activities.
- Interface with the client on operational and safety performance issues.
- Coach and support the teams to ensure they safely achieve operational requirements.
- Ensure all safe work practices are always followed.
- Actively participate in collaborative meetings including pre-start. toolbox feedback and group safety involvement.
- Enforce rigorous compliance to Zero Harm principles daily.
- Understand and improve targets and plans in support of the operations team.
- Ensure the continual review of the weekly operations plan, cascading its goals to daily performance targets.

**About you**:

- Over 3 years operating experience with 1 year’s direct experience in leading project operational crews.
- Cert III qualifications in a related mining operation, with experience in contact mining or civil engineering, or in related industries.
- Experience in operational productivity improvement.
- Developed communication skills with the proven ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
- Sound knowledge of OH&S regulations, procedures and policies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, to empower the operational crews towards objectives set.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Ability to complete full pre-employment medical including drug screen.
- Provide a current police clearance.
