**Employment Opportunity**

The Grants, Procurement and Framework Policy Section sits within Corporate Services Division (CSD).

The APS Level 5 Procurement Officer will join a team that provides Grants, Procurement and Financial Framework Policy advice, guidance and support to the Attorney-General's Department. As a lead portfolio agency, the role will also involve some coordination and reporting activities on behalf of our portfolio entities.
- Provide advice and guidance to the department on the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act).
- Provide advice on financial and spending delegations and authorisations for the department
- Provide advice and guidance to the department on procurement documentation, activities and processes.
- Provide advice and QA of procurement registrations and contracts in the departments procurement reporting and workflow system
- Undertake testing of procurement processes and financial activities to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
- Maintain and administer access to other-agency panel arrangements including Whole of Government coordinated arrangements.
- Assist with procurement and financial framework mandatory reporting for the department and portfolio.
- Attendance at and coordination of meetings, forums, communities of practice both internal and external
- Assist with the development and maintenance of a framework for procurement including developing and/or enhancement of templates and quality management processes.

- Willing to complete the Procurement and Contract Management training program via the APS Academy and Certificate IV in Government Procurement and Contracting.
