Join a highly sought after department in key corporate role which provides policy advice to internal and external stakeholders on complex procurement and grant related programs.

**Your new role**
- Maintain, review, update and implement complex procurement and grant documents including procurement and grant policies, complex guidance material and templates.
- Ensure all revisions reflect departmental needs, align with departmental priorities and comply with applicable legislation, regulations, policies, guidelines, reporting obligations and procedures (e.g. PGPA Act, Commonwealth Procurement Rules, CGRGs, FFSP Act and the Procurement Policy).
- Identify gaps in policies, guidance and templates and propose solutions to resolve any gaps.
- Propose innovative solutions or new approaches to improve useability of any procurement and grant documents and create efficiencies in the procurement/grant process.
- Liaise and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to seek feedback and consult on procurement/grant documents.
- Actively consider very complex risks associated with the procurement/grant process.
- Identify, anticipate and prioritise relevant procurement issues based on their alignment to government objectives, their impact on relevant stakeholders (internal and external) and their compliance to relevant legislation, regulations, policies and processes.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered you will bring previous experience in procurement with a strong understanding the PGPA Act, CPR's and CCRG's.

**What you'll get in return**

This role will commence as a 12 month contract, with the option to extend up to 3 years.
