**Purpose of Position**
Simply Helping Gippsland South & West is seeking a dedicated Programs Administrator to join our team. We are committed to providing exceptional in-home support that adds value, meaning, and dignity to the lives of our valued elder community.
**Key Responsibilities**
**In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the best possible care by**:
- Assisting with client intake and completing necessary paperwork to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Processing referrals and enquiries for aged care services.
- Working closely with care coordinators and service users to understand their needs and goals.
- Helping clients manage their funding for aged care programs.
- Maintaining accurate client records and communication logs.
- Monitoring and updating care plans and risk assessments in accordance with Simply Helping policies.
- Forwarding any incident reports, feedback, or complaints to ensure continuous improvement.
**Skills/Attributes**
- Has a genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to their well-being.
- Possesses excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Has clear communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, families, and staff.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Maintains high ethical standards and personal integrity.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A strong understanding of relevant aged care programs (HCP) will boost your profile.
**Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of HCP rules and standards.
- Valid Police Check, WWCC, NDIS Screening Check & 3 Covid Doses required.
