This role provides high-level advice to professional and operational leads, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding X-ray Operator services and standards of practice and the development of supervision, training and assessment programs, to reduce duplication and enhance the quality and safety of X-ray Operator services delivered across the West Moreton HHS.
This role will provide leadership and support across the HHS cluster to radiographers, Radiographic Advisors, Endorsed Radiographers and X-ray Operators.
About you
- Advanced level of knowledge, expertise and skill in plain film radiography and service delivery in a wide range of settings, including a broad understanding of contemporary issues including professional support, professional development, clinical governance, rural health service delivery and provision of services throughout the continuum of care.
- Ability to provide professional supervision, training and performance management, including competency training and skills development to clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Ability to use high level communication techniques to lead, engage and manage staff to meet or exceed the medical imaging service's clinical and professional responsibilities including continuous education.
- Ability to flexibly deliver/facilitate training and assessment in various modes/formats.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Be an Endorsed Radiographer or work towards becoming an Endorsed Radiographer (i.e. holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment). Post graduate qualifications in clinical education would also be highly desirable.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
