Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with one of our major clients, Turner & Townsend's Infrastructure division in Brisbane requires an experienced **Project Controls Lead** to join the team and work on a high profile, secured infrastructure project.

This position will lead the overall planning function for this project, provide cost, risk and schedule oversight for the biodiversity offsets and land acquisitions. Whilst also playing a key role in overseeing the day to day management of this already strong and high performing team.

**Job Description**:

- Provide cost, risk and schedule oversight for the biodiversity offsets and land acquisitions
- Establish and embed an approach to Possession Management, Testing & Commissioning and Critical Resource Management within in the P6 environment.
- Partner with counterparts across other project controls functions to lead a collaborative process to the delivery of the project and its management processes.
- Accountable for the development of schedules, activity planning and associated logic capable of delivering the project objectives.
- Leads and ensures the effective assessment of all changes and accurate representation of approved changes within the baseline.
- Oversees and provides timely and focused reporting to key stakeholders and project governance, including planning metrics and KPI’s.

**Qualifications**:

- Full working rights and be currently in Australia.
- Substantial experience (15+ years) in managing and motivating Project Controls teams on major infrastructure projects and programs - this will need to include 5 years in a rail environment.
- Demonstrable success in delivery of major projects as Project Controls Lead throughout the project lifecycle to commissioning and handover.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent training in engineering procurement construction delivery
- Proven people manager and team leader with excellent communications skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good commercial and financial awareness including good experience of commercial contracting.
