**Your new role**
To assist and support the Human Resources and Payroll departments in providing human resource and payroll support services through a broad range of activities across the employee lifecycle. The Role will also provide high level administrative and adhoc support to the Sydney office that results in time saving efficiencies. This includes assisting with the reception area, managing the stationery and assisting with events management.

The main duties of the role will fall under the following areas; HR Administration, Assisting with Recruitment, Employee Relations, Work, Health & Safety/ Workers Compensation, Payroll, Events and Hospitality Management and General Office Administration.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications within HR or at least 2 years relevant experience
- A Solid understanding of Awards, FWA, NES and WHS Legislation
- Strong IT skills and Proficiency with Microsoft Office software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- High Level of Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong customer focus and stakeholder management ability
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while completing work accurately and to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong relationship building skills
- Self-confident and highly motivated
- Flexibility - adaptive to different situations and needs
- Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgement and initiative
- Experience in a functional payroll position, ideally Chris 21 is desirable
- Purchasing and negotiation skills
