We are looking for a FULL TIME SALES person to join our team in our Dandenong South retail store to work 4-5 days a week (including half day Saturday)

**Who is Pivot Stove and Heating?**

We are Australia’s longest running heating company - and for the last 147 years we have been supplying heating and cooking into homes throughout Australia.

Our head office is based in North Geelong, with this position being conveniently based at our Dandenong South Retail store with a close, small knit team. We take pride in helping our customers find the ‘right heater for their home’ and will provide you with all the training and resources for you to be able to smash it out of the ballpark
You can expect your hours to increase over the cooler months, with summer hours allowing you to enjoy the warmer weather. The store does not open on Sundays or Public Holidays with a shutdown period over the Christmas period, your input on your preferred days to work will also be considered as we try to be as accommodating as possible.

**The role**:
Daily duties include:

- In person, showroom sales
- Phone consultations and orders
- Customer support, troubleshooting and advice
- Successfully closing retail sales
- Using MYOB and Microsoft Office proficiently
- Maintaining an appealing showroom
- Meeting individual and team sales targets
- Coordinating with external contractors
- Highly motivated
- Passionate for sales
- Computer literate
- Adept at building rapport and effective relationships with customers
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Contribute to the sales performance of the store and take ownership
- Have a passion for providing excellent customer service to both trade and retail customers.
- Strive to exceed customer and management expectations
- Multitasking abilities and great communication skills
- Able to work half day Saturdays

Opening hours: Weekdays 9.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 3.00pm

**Salary**: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dandenong, VIC 3175: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
