Our Industrial and Energy business has an opportunity for a **Project Controls Lead** to work closely with the Project Controls Manager and operations to improve commercial and contract management discipline.

**THE ROLE**:

- Roll out Project Controls Framework and provide status updates..
- Ensures Commercial & Risk compliance with all Downer Policies during execution phase and support continuous improvement.
- Forming relationships with other stakeholders to influence outcomes.
- Ability to organise and coordinate Commercial & Risk Resources in execution phase.
- Lead from the front and drive excellence.
- Leads integration of Execution Phase Commercial & Risk Resources into the business they are supporting.
- Member of review committee for Monthly Project Reports.
- Escalation point for resolution of contractual disputes.
- Work closely with Finance Team to manage Risk & Opportunity Register on a monthly basis.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Degree qualification, construction management, engineering or finance may be considered with relevant experience.
- Ability to build strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders whilst working collaboratively across a diverse and complex environment.
- Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
- Ability to bring people together, build relationships and manage conflict in a diplomatic and professional manner.
- High attention to detail, resilient, adaptable, and able to take initiative.
- Superior communication capabilities, with the ability to inform, negotiate and influence at all levels.
- Naturally self-driven, proactive, and inquisitive, with desire to understand a broad range of commercial issues.
- Team orientated.
- Results focused.
- Able to meet specified timelines/schedules.
