The Jetstar Engineering Team are at the forefront of delivering operational excellence. They are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of our fleet. We're currently seeking a highly motivated Inventory Officer - Repairs to join this hardworking and high-performing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing large volumes of work, and takes real ownership of their stakeholders, ports, and vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Repair Order Management
- Raise repair orders promptly and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Expediting and Scheduling
- Monitor and expedite repair orders to ensure timely completion and delivery.
- Issue Resolution
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues or delays affecting component availability.
- Quote and Invoice Management
- Review and process vendor repair quotes efficiently.
- Verify and address invoice rejections.
- Respond to Finance and Accounts Payable queries related to aged invoices and manual payments.
- Cross-Department Coordination
- Collaborate with repair vendors, logistics, technical and finance teams to ensure components are available as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with repair vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service agreements.
- Technical Documentation
- Obtain and manage technical data and documentation to support compliant component repairs or exchanges.

- Experience in purchasing, component control, or supply chain (aviation preferred)
- Accountability and a strong sense of ownership for assigned ports, vendors, and tasks
- Confidence working with Excel (moderate level) and willingness to learn systems such as TRAX (full training provided)
- Effective multitasking and stakeholder communication across technical and operational teams
- A proactive attitude, customer-first focus, and strong integrity in all interactions
