**Your Role**

We’re growing - and we’re on the lookout for a talented **Underwriter** to join our Fleet Business team.

This is an exciting opportunity offering excellent exposure to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and partners, giving you a platform to establish and nurture strong professional relationships.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Manage a portfolio of brokers, underwriting both **new business** and **renewals**.
- Work with the team to grow the **existing book of business** and meet **new business targets**.
- Assess moderate to complex fleet insurance risks, determining **acceptability**, **terms**, **conditions**, and **pricing**.
- Develop and maintain **strong relationships with brokers** through ongoing communication and regular site visits.
- Collaborate with the **Broker Relationship Team** to ensure best practices in **account management**.
- Act as a key contact for stakeholders, ensuring a high standard of **service delivery and risk management**.

This is a full-time permanent role based out of Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) and offers flexible working arrangements.

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in Motor Fleet Underwriting, Motor Portfolio Management or Motor Risk Engineering experience will be preferred
- Demonstrated experience in the insurance market
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build strong working relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
- Good negotiation skills
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and individually to achieve shared outcomes.
