Domestic Violence Service Management (DVSM) provides direct services to people experiencing Domestic and Family Violence and homelessness. Continuously working to strengthen social, service, and system responses to people experiencing domestic and family violence together with Insight Exchange.

DVSM provides support services across Inner Sydney, Western Sydney, and in remote rural NSW (Wilcannia)

**About the role**:
We are excited to partner with the organisation to appoint a passionate and established Senior Leader to join the organisation as General Manager.
- A full time, permanent role based in Sydney
- Hybrid working model, with office located in CBD
- Senior leadership role. Shaping the organisations' strategy and development

As General Manager you will lead strategy, sustainability, and development across the organisation. Overseeing and supporting the leadership of managers and service delivery teams to fulfil the organisations' strategy, funding requirements and execution of commitments and contracts

As a member of the Executive Team, you will embed systems and practices that enable continuous quality improvement, while developing a strong and collaborative culture.

**A bit about you**
To have success in the role you will be a highly motivated, professional senior leader able to shape and steer DVSM’s strategic direction. You will also have;
- Extensive management experience with people and teams in a senior leadership role where you have led the way in the operational delivery of a strategic plan and worked through change.
- Significant experience managing programs that support people with complex support needs, ideally with knowledge of the impacts of Domestic and Family Violence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, including well-developed negotiation, conflict management and resolution.
- Ability to critically assess and analyse at a high strategic level, making recommendations for improvement and implementing change initiatives
- Demonstrated business acumen including financial management, budgeting, and governance experience.
- High-level organisational skills, time management and project management skills
- Hold an unrestricted driver's license, as well as being open to undergo pre-employment checks including current WWCC
