Join our collaborative and forward-thinking team as an **Information Management Officer**, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring best-practice information governance across Council.

As an Information Management Officer, you will be the first point of contact for day-to-day records and information management services. From capturing accurate and compliant records to supporting staff with the use of our electronic document management system (Content Manager), your work will be central to delivering an efficient, transparent, and customer-focused records service.
- Provide a daily information management service to ensure that records are created, captured, stored, retrieved, delivered, preserved and protected.
- Perform regular records compliance audits to improve data integrity and to facilitate efficient retrieval of information.
- Provide customer focused guidance and support on the Information Management obligations and Content Manager to staff.

**What you'll bring/what we are looking for**

You are a proactive, detail-oriented person with a focus on compliance and service excellence. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for supporting others. You’ll have:

- Post-secondary qualifications or a few years’ experience in a records management or related role.
- Experience using Content Manager in a similar role.
- Experience working in a customer focused role dealing with many customer enquiries simultaneously.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise your own tasks and deliver agreed actions.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to achieve shared responsibilities and workload support.
- Very good attention to detail.

**Pre-employment requirements**
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) (Previously known as a police check)

- A permanent full-time position, with a monthly RDO (19-day month).
