
Quality, Compliance and Wh&s Manager

_**Position Summary**:_
- As the Safeguarding and Improvement Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization meets all regulatory requirements and maintains the highest standards of service delivery. Your expertise in compliance and quality management will be instrumental in safeguarding the well-being of the individuals we support and maintaining our commitment to excellence._
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- _Develop and implement quality control and assurance policies and procedures for the organization._
- _Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, legal and safety standards within the organization._
- _Keep track of changes and updates in regulations and update organizational policies and practices accordingly._
- _Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies._
- _Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements._
- _Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues._
- _Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies._
- _Proactively engaging with clients to foster meaningful interactions and gathering valuable feedback._
- _Manage and supervise quality control teams in performing regular audits and inspections._
- _Broad knowledge and understanding in Work, Health and Safety._
- _Administer the WHS Management System ensuring compliance with relevant WHS Legislation._
- _Risk management analysis of identified potential safety and health hazards and reporting._
- _Maintain registers for events, incidents, accidents and injuries and provide analysis and WHS reporting to the General Manager._
- _Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement within the organization through leadership and teamwork._
- _Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues._
- _Provide compliance training to employees at all levels of the organization._
- _Develop and deliver training programs for staff members on quality assurance protocols and procedures._
- _Keep up-to-date with changing regulations and compliance requirements._
- _Prepare compliance reports and make recommendations for corrective actions and statistical reports on quality standards._
- _Collaborate with internal and external partners to address compliance issues and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards related to [healthcare, disability care, aged care, etc.] services._
- _Analyze data and reports to identify areas of opportunity for quality improvement and producing statistical reports on quality standards. Ensure that client satisfaction is a top priority throughout the entire organization._
**Essential Qualifications and Requirements**:
- _Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, law, or a related field._
- _Minimum of 2 years of relevant compliance and quality management experience in a disability/healthcare setting._
- _In-depth knowledge of healthcare and disability laws and regulations._
- _Demonstrated success in developing and implementing quality control and assurance policies and procedures._
- _Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire others to uphold quality standards._
- _Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex compliance issues to stakeholders at all levels._
- _Ability to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures._
- _Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective solutions._
