**About the Role**

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the Manager - Business Finance Partner to provide cost visibility, analysis, reporting and forecasting & budgeting is performed efficiently and accurately.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Reporting timely, accurate and reliable monthly results;
- Preparation of business unit annual budget, forecast and long term plan;
- Produce reports to assist in the development of monthly management reporting and monitoring of budgets;
- Providing comprehensive analysis to support decision making including recommending solutions;
- Contribute to the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the budget;
- Prepare presentations and written materials to communicate outputs from financial and commercial analysis;
- Partnering with various stakeholders to help drive financial acumen across the business;
- Identify improvements in financial processes and systems and participate in the scoping, planning, and implementation of improvements.

**To be successful, it is envisaged you will have**:

- current CA or CPA qualifications;
- analytical skills with experience in data analysis and expertise in Excel;
- focus on accuracy with high attention to detail;
- Superior problem solving and adaptability;
- exposure to mining industry preferred;
- strong accounting skills;
- ability to effectively communicate financial results to a variety of stakeholders;
- experience with JD Edwards and various reporting tools (advantageous);
- the ability to question and interpret results and seek answers to support operations;
- previous experience with business partnering advantageous.
