**About the Role**:
The Cluster Manager, Home and Living Support will lead their team of Disability Support Workers to support the provision of a high level of excellent customer service to our clients and their families with a focus on supporting the management of end-to-end therapeutic care service, coordination of supports, community access and psychosocial services.

The Cluster Manager oversees a group of approximately 20 clients and covers all aspects of managing their clients support provision, inclusive of achievements of standards, legislative requirements, service provisions, staffing and financial management within area of responsibility. The Cluster Manager will have outstanding interpersonal skills to manage organisational issues, negotiate individual service agreements and outcomes and develop and motivate staff. This role will be required to understand and implement staff management and personnel practices and build reliable alliances with families in addition to managing and influencing change.

The Cluster Manager accountabilities will be split 80% management/supervision and 20% rostered working directly with clients and alongside staff in clients’ homes in a supernumerary capacity.
- Demonstrates a genuine commitment to helping people with disabilities retain their independence in the community
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well autonomously, as well as working effectively within a team environment
- Great communication and relationship building skills along with a commitment to providing quality services and implementing continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to relate professionally with families, advocates and to develop and motivate staff.
- Ability to work effectively and solve problems under day-to-day operational pressures and take accountability for their work to ensure business and financial objectives are met

**In this role you will**:

- Provide sound leadership, coaching and direction to direct reports in operational, performance, administrative and disability industry matters, role modelling of Minda’s Values aligned with Minda’s Purpose
- Develop and maintain an appropriate program for professional development, staff training and education for ongoing development of the team consistent with individual and team plans as established via the Performance Management Framework.
- In conjunction with Human Resources conduct and resolve all formal performance management issues
- Oversee the recruitment, induction, training and supervision of employees and any site volunteers/placement students
- Establish measurable outcomes that improve the quality of life for clients and document accordingly
- Undertake regular reviews and audits of delivery of services identifying service gaps, and assessing potential solutions for continuous improvement in conjunction with Senior Manager, Client Services
- Work alongside Client Service Unit to support with Onboarding of clients within your cluster.
- Communicate with families as per individual agreements
- Ensure all concerns and issues raised by staff, clients and or families are fairly and appropriately investigated and a plan for resolution, including time frames, is clearly documented
