Abano Healthcare is Australasia's largest dental support organisation (DSO), dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to patients across Australia and New Zealand. We are a team of passionate professionals committed to supporting our network of over 250 dental practices and 700+ clinicians, empowering them to deliver the highest quality oral healthcare services.
The Group Financial & Compliance Reporting Specialist will play a crucial role in helping to ensure compliance with accounting and sustainability standards, as well as banking covenants. The role will also support on key tasks such as the monthly consolidation, financial reporting and analysis ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the continued financial integrity of Abano.
The role work closely with the external auditors and other Finance teams, including FP&A and shared services finance, and other support staff as necessary.
**Qualifications**
- Strong understanding of the new sustainability reporting standards (AASB S1, AASB S2)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, D365, Nomos and Accurri desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced finance team environment
- Previous external audit experience is an essential requirement of this role, ensuring a strong understanding of external audit processes and financial reporting
- ESG experience desirable
- Commercial experience desirable
- Health/dental industry experience desirable
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) - minimum 2 years post completion
