**Company Description**

The restaurant and bar supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of restaurant staff, expediting customers' orders as needed, and maintaining good working relationships with suppliers.

**What you will be doing**:
In this hands-on and customer-experience centric role, you will lead, mentor and motivate your team, ensuring we deliver professional, efficient, high quality, and wholesome service, all while assisting the team to achieve their professional goals. Your daily mission will include:

- Assist with the smooth running of PARC Brasserie & Bar, ensuring that our guests receive polished, smooth, food & beverage experiences throughout.
- Lead, mentor and train the Food and Beverage Team, ensuring a fun, energetic and unpretentious working environment.
- Ensure that strategies are in place to allow for efficient and effective staffing of the department to achieve financial and service quality targets.
- Ensure that Team Members are briefed on all menus, promotions, dietaries and special requirements.
- Assist in induction of new Team Members, training, development & performance conversations.
- Handle any escalated guest complaints whilst on shift

**Qualifications** Your experience, skills and qualifications include**:
You will ideally have previous experience in a leadership role at a premium Restaurant/Bar and looking to work as part of a new and exciting venture. Plus:

- Passionate about hospitality and great service
- Excited about quality food
- Excellent communication skills, with a people-centered mindset.
- Proven experience in leading a successful team, with the ability to achieve and maintain high standards.
- Hold a valid RSA in SA. RP Badge is advantageous.
- Someone who can think outside the box to ensure continuous improvement.
- The ability to work various shifts, including lunch/dinner service periods including weekends/public holidays
- Someone who can lead by example, is a passionate and can build a sense of excitement in the workplace.
- Above all, someone who is motivated to taken full ownership of the role and progress with the company.
