- **Clerk Grade 11/12 Salary ($139,787 - $161,663 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**Your role**

Develop and manage strategic projects, including project planning, stakeholder management, and resource negotiation, to implement evidenced based practice, building the capability of Youth Justice staff to effectively deliver intervention in line with best practice principles and contemporary research.

**What you’ll do**

You'll work as part of a dynamic state-wide team that is responsive to the policy and practice needs of the agency whilst also
- Developing and managing a range of strategic projects in the areas of resources, programs and training for the continuous improvement of service delivery by the division staff and commissioned services in line with the strategic directions of the division and Department of Communities and Justice.
- Managing and overseeing all aspects of project implementation.
- Developing and maintaining a range of collaborative networks across Youth Justice and key external stakeholder networks including government and non-government organisations, to ensure consistency across the Department of Communities and Justice in terms of program direction, governing legislation and a whole of government approach.
- Negotiating contracts and coordinate the work performed by externally sourced providers, to ensure that services are provided in accordance with agreed quality standards, budget and timeframes.
- Provide high level strategic advice and support to the regional staff, managers and directors to meet service delivery outcomes and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Lead, manage, guide and advise staff on practice improvement of service delivery, and build division capability to deliver consistent outcomes, including contributing to the professional development of project team members by providing leadership, management and coaching where relevant.
- Prepare a range of strategic and operational documents as required, including briefing papers, discussion papers, reports, submissions and responses to information requests.
- Analyse and determine the impact of contemporary research and provide recommendations, direction, and guidance to staff, including coordinating tasks and setting priorities for improved program and intervention delivery.

**What we’re looking for**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
