**The Opportunity**

As a Venue Officer at the City of Perth Town Hall, you'll be at the heart of vibrant events, working with customers to bring their visions to life. You’ll play a key role in supporting events and delivering production, technical, and venue services, all while offering exceptional customer service. Every day will be a new opportunity to create unforgettable experiences and contribute to the success of Perth’s events.

Reporting to the Supervisor Town Hall within our City Culture team, your responsibilities would primarily include:

- Meet with potential customers who wish to view the venue as required and provide information and advice on the venue, equipment, technical systems and services provided;
- Set up and operate venue technical systems during events;
- Monitor and maintain compliance of hire conditions and licensing requirements, including adherence to liquor licensing laws, during events to maintain safety and legal standards; and
- Ensure the building’s presentation, cleanliness, and accessibility are maintained to a high standard before, during and after events, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and compliance with accessibility regulations.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

- Demonstrated experience learning and operating a technical system;
- Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment;
- Strong customer service skills with experience responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner; and
- Good time management skills with ability to manage a variety of tasks as required.

**Eligibility**

To be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:

- A right to work in Australia (e.g. a birth certificate, current passport or current visa);
- Fitness for work via a pre-employment medical; and
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
