Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Officer contributes ongoing administration and troubleshooting of the Arena’s core IT infrastructure, and provides IT support to colleagues, internal users, and external clients.

**About Role**
- Administration of the Point-of-Sale system for venue events.
- Systems administration and configuration of server technologies and virtual environments.
- Monitoring and maintenance of servers, workstations, printers, and networks to minimize potential issues.
- Assist in the development and upgrading of the internal network to provide the best user experience.
- Working with venue hirers on events to provide an accurate, professional, and high-level delivery of IT/network solutions.

**About You**

You’ll love working in a fast-paced environment, being able to troubleshoot, problem solve and think on your feet. Working in the live entertainment industry means supporting the delivery of events across our calendar, requiring weekend, evening, and public holiday work. Essential skills:

- Demonstrated experience in the support and administration of a networked windows environment
- Experience and understanding of networking and routing protocols
- Solid support experience in server technologies including:

- Windows Server 2012 R2/2019 and Windows 10/11
- VMWare ESXi *Office 365
- Azure AD
- Exposure to TeamViewer RMM for system monitoring and support
- Experience in backup and disaster management
- Experience in IP Telephone and VOIP knowledge (Microsoft Teams)
- Technical wireless knowledge and wireless controller management (Ubiquiti and HP Aruba)
- Understanding of IPTV systems (digital signage)
- Network, hardware, and systems monitoring and notifications
- Understanding of Point-Of-Sale and EFTPOS systems strongly desirable
