**OneLink** is the ACT’s central intake service which provides information, referral for individuals and families to access services that they need, particularly related to accommodation. We work with information and connections for support services in the ACT who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This includes services for families and young people.
As an Assessment and Support Coordinator, you will conduct holistic assessments of service users, connecting them to accommodation and support services. You will view people as experts in their own lives, have a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, and possess excellent communication skills.
**Our Offer**:
- Full time (38 hours per week), fixed term appointment until 30 November 2025.
- Salary of SCS 5 $99,643.17 - $104,152.19 p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Based at Belconnen with travel within ACT to provide outreach services.
- Paid leave over the Christmas/New Year shut down period.
- 15 days paid personal leave per annum (pro rata) for full & part-time employees
- Salary packaging up to $15,899 per Fringe Benefits Tax year, with an additional Meals and Entertainment package available up to $2,650 per Fringe Benefits Tax year.
- 24/7 Nationally recognised Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including 3 holistic sessions (Nutritional, Financial and Legal).

**Experience and Qualifications**:
- Qualifications in relevant discipline area and/or extensive experience in either child protection related roles or child, youth, family case management/ support roles.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience working in the child protection area and/or with families/young people, or a demonstrated ability to work with complex clients and an understanding of child protection.
- Demonstrated ability to identify needs and draw out relevant information via a holistic and person-centred conversation.
- Demonstrated ability to use strengths-based practises, person centred approaches and trauma informed practise.
- Ability to implement the appropriate CYF and OneLink practise framework principles.
- Ability to establish and maintain service knowledge, make and receive referrals and work in an integrated way.
- Demonstrated professional conduct and ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated professional competence and sensitivity in holistic assessment processes and referrals.
- Demonstrated exceptional written skills to ensure clear and concise reports, case notes and comprehensive referrals.
- Demonstrated ability to enter data accurately and reflect data and case studies in reports.
- Proven ability to effectively time manage a range of competing priorities at the one time.
- Proven ability to actively participate as a team member and contribute to strategic and service improvement discussions.
