We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic **Intake Assessment Administration Officer **to provide administration support to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Aged Care team, in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards.

We deliver services across the ACT covering children, families, young people and seniors including disability, housing and mental health services.

**Our Offer**
- Fixed-term part-time (22.8 hours/week) appointment until 30 June 2025.
- Salary of $74,040.15 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 11.5% superannuation.

**About the role**
- Provide general administrative tasks to NDIS and Aged Care team that supports with NDIS and CHSP (Commonwealth Home Support programme), and other aged care services, including supporting the intake and review processes.
- Support quality services to meet the needs of ageing people and/or people with a disability in a kind and professional manner. Embed a Reablement approach in service delivery to build on individuals’ strengths and goals, with the objective of fostering greater independence and, w
- possible, less reliance on care services.
- Assist in billing enquiries, counting any financial contributions from service users, record and deposit amounts when required.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Relevant certificate and/or relevant experience.
- Sound communication (both oral and written) and good interpersonal skills to be able to interact positively with a variety of people and to communicate clearly with service users.
- Demonstrated ability to provide sensitive and appropriate support to people
- who are ageing and/or have a disability.
- Current ACT drivers’ licence.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft suite and case management systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality.
