**PRODUCTION MANAGER**
Join the Tibaldi team as a full-time Production Manager based in Clayton Victoria.
**Our Story**
Founded in 1934, the Tibaldi family of butchers had a dream to provide Australian’s with only the finest cuts of meats processed the traditional way using authentic Italian recipes.
90 years later not much has changed. Today, Tibaldi are a major supplier to the retail, route and food service industry across Australia. The company’s state of the art facilities in Clayton excel industry standards using leading technology.
The product range spans across traditional Italian salami, ham, bacon, traditional smallgoods, fresh meat including a range of Outdoor Bred pork.

**Your Story**
As a Production Manager at Tibaldi you will be part of the production team based in Clayton, Victoria reporting to the Manufacturing Manager.
**In this pivotal and leadership role you will be involved in**:
- Management of production functions & driving continuous improvement
- Responsible for performance, Machine Efficiency and reaching volume targets
- Problem Solving on Situational and Systemic issues as per the escalation process
- Sets the benchmark for role modelling health and safety behavior with the team
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, safety policies and procedures
- Ensure Health and Safety information is communicated to the teams across all shifts
- Continually develop the team to drive performance and engagement
- Manage performance outcomes with support from Production Team Members including writing reports
- Manage leave for all allocated production employees to minimize overtime and maximize skills across the team
- Being ‘hands-on’ with everyone from our entry level roles
- Being an adaptable, innovative team player, willing to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills and good sense of judgement on confliction priorities.
- Business partnering with key business stakeholders including from Quality Assurance, Research and Development, Maintenance, Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR.
- Undertaking proactive activities ensuring the delivery and compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP standards
Our FMCG and meat products, will require you to use your knowledge of:
- Experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Manufacturing or Science (preferred but not essential)
- Meat import and export requirements
- FMCG audits (e.g., IPMP, AQIS and SEDEX audits)
- Food manufacturing GMP standards
- Experience with food safety managements systems preferable (e.g., FSANZ, SQF, HACCP, CFMSR, Yum, Costco, Aldi, FSSC 22000)
You will bring to the role minimum of 3 years of food manufacturing / production experience with previous smallgoods or meat manufacturing experience being highly regarded.
