**Lead National Retail Growth at Koko Black**:
At Koko Black, we craft moments of joy through chocolate; handmade, natural and proudly Australian. As we continue to grow our national presence, we're seeking a commercially driven National Business Manager - Retail to lead strategic partnerships with major retailers and grow our brand across shelves nationwide.
This is a senior commercial role for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships, delivering growth and leading with purpose.
**The Role**:
Reporting to the General Manager - Corporate Sales and leading a team of three Key Account Managers, you’ll take ownership of Koko Black’s national grocery channel. You will play a pivotal role in executing our growth strategy with major retail partners such as Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and Costco.
From leading the Joint Business Planning process to championing category and channel development, this role combines strategic thinking, sales leadership and operational rigour to ensure our premium offering is represented with excellence at every touchpoint.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Lead and grow Koko Black’s presence in national grocery channels
- Build and execute strategic joint business plans with key retailers
- Lead a high-performing sales team and inspire a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Negotiate trading terms, pricing and promotional strategy to drive margin and volume
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance to align on forecasts, stock flow and category strategies
- Track performance data, identify opportunities and adjust plans to optimise outcomes
- Champion brand excellence in retail execution, shelf visibility and customer storytelling
**What You’ll Bring**:
- Proven experience in a national or senior key account management role within FMCG or retail
- Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of retail trading dynamics
- Experience leading Joint Business Planning and retail promotional cycles
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills
- A track record of delivering revenue, margin and share of shelf growth
- Leadership capability with experience managing and developing sales teams
