Inventory Coordinator

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your primary functions will be to manage all inbound and inventory accuracy, including inbound activities, goods receipt, inventory integrity, cycle counts, and stock management, ensuring all inventory management processes and procedures are implemented and followed. Your focus is to use your experience, skills, and effectiveness in the management of inventory accuracy across the warehouse function.

Day-to-day tasks including but not limited to:

- Maintaining high inventory accuracy levels through cycle counting and investigation.
- Coordinate weekly/monthly cycle count and Yearly full counts reconciliations and investigate or resolve any discrepancies following the stocktake
- Minimise shrinkage by investigating the causes of damaged and or missing stock escalating any concerns.
- Set up pick details, put-away, replenishment rules and maintain Material Master file
- Ensure internal quality control processes are followed and maintained
- Ensuring FIFO (first in first out), batch and expiration control information is correct and maintained
- Oversee warehouse replenishment activities whilst reviewing and implementing efficient allocation of Pick Faces for all Class, A, B, C products and actively participate in warehouse inventory layout and optimisation.
- Review controls for reclassed products check put-away rules and pick faces and adjust
- Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices
- Follow up on Client and our inventory discrepancy issues and ensure requests are actioned timely as directed
- Reconciling book to book inventory between our books and our client's books
- Processing inventory transactions in our WMS, transferring of stock on systems when required

**ABOUT YOU**

In order to succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills and a background in Inventory Control and managing a high volume and variety of products.

The essentials we are looking for:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar inventory controller, logistics, warehousing analyst role or similar
- Highly self-motivated
- Forklift licence (LF/LO) ( would be desirable)
- FMCG warehousing and Inventory experience in similar role essential
- Experience at multi-tasking essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Comfortable with the Microsoft office suite including Excel and Outlook
- Experience with computer-based warehouse management system (WMS), including both RF and paper-based systems.
- SAP experience highly regarded.
- Proactive approach to challenges and take initiative to implement solutions and improvements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
